In the equestrian world, the saying ‘No feet, no horse’ is well-known. Yet, the importance of a healthy hoof mechanism is often underestimated, with negative effects on the performance of sport and recreational horses. Belgian sport horse veterinarian Peter Weyts aims to change that. From his years of experience, he developed the product Trombofeet, which optimizes blood circulation in the hoof. This doping-free supplement has already been successfully introduced in Belgium and the Netherlands, and is increasingly gaining traction in other countries.
